Cant Miss: Carolina Christmas

If you are like me and in search of holiday activities on a budget then don't miss the Carolina Christmas display at the Speedway! Most activities are set up in doors to get you out of the cold. You can easily keep to a budget by carefully choosing your activities. Thanks to the cold we avoided the outside amusement rides. (However, at a dollar a ride they are not set up to break the bank.) My family also skipped the ice skating ring and chose the arts and crafts table. Cost to make your own ornament $1-$2 per ornament. We then posed for our own pictures by the race cars on display. There were treats and hot chocolate for sale...we did indulge in a bag of homemade doughnuts at $5 per bag. Fee to get in is $20. However, if its in the budget I advise saving the hour wait in line by buying the fast pass for $35. The free live nativity was beautiful. Overall it was a great time and as my 5 yr old said "This is the most fantastic lights I've ever seen!"
